The Building:Humaniti is a very interesting construction which is scheduled to be finished by 2020. It has all four different types of typical city real estate. Part of it is an office building, in which Google is planning on putting its local offices. Part of it is rental accommodation for some 300 units, studios, one bedroom and two bedrooms, another section is for a hotel, and finally the upper floors of the south side are for condos. The building will have all the amenities typical for this type of construction with a Gym, a Sauna, a Pool, an Urban Chalet and much more.
The condos: There are all sorts of different layouts available to the discerning buyer. The finishings are of very high quality and the layouts are of the highest modern standards. The windows will be floor to ceiling with stunning views of the surrounding area since Humaniti stands much taller than neighbouring constructions. It will be possible to see the Old Port, the river, the towers of the Downtown core, and the Mount-Royal.
The location: The Humaniti building is being built on a parking lot opposite the Palais des Congres, which has been vacant for quite some time now. In fact it was the only vacant space in the area and this new building will enhance the entire neighbourhood. The building is located diagonally across from the nearest entrance to the Palais des Congres which is a massive building where exhibitions are held on a regular basis. It is also very convenient as it connects to the subway’s orange line and the Place d’Armes and Victoria Square stations. It is also possible to walk underground all the way to the Place des Arts and St Catherines street.
